Thailand Unseen - Wat Baan Kung is a small chapel that is famous for being completely enclosed within the roots of a banyan tree called Bot Prok Po.

Over 300 years old, the temple was built like any other, if not for the banyan tree called Bot Prok Po which started growing over and around it until completely encasing the chapel.

Inside Wat Baan Kung is a golden Buddha that has lain hidden for hundreds of years until it was discovered recently.

Those who make the journey to the chapel will be rewarded with marvelous view of a magnificent golden Buddha.
