Dhammapada, 2, translated by Thanissaro Bhikkhu


Those with initiative, mindful, clean in action, acting with due consideration, heedful, restrained, living the Dharma: their glory grows. Through initiative, heedfulness, restraint, & self-control, the wise would make an island no flood can submerge.
